The theatre was sold in a box.
The theatre is a carry-on toy, with doors which can be opened up. The doors close with a latch shaped as a letter A. There were 2 types of purple theaters with different latches released: One in fuchsia with pink, one in dark and light purple. Unfortunately, the door latches at the top, which are very small, tend to break off easily.
The doors display 2 balconies.
The background of the balconies is made from cardboard.
There is a reversible cardboard backdrop for the stage.
I have decent sized and proper resolution scans of all backdrops for anyone who needs them, please contact me. They would best be printed on photopaper, covering it gently with spraying 3 thin layers of satin varnish to make it sturdier after the ink dried for 24 hours.
The stage lights work by pushing the left light. If the lights don't work, chances are big that the cold soldering came loose, which means a total disassembly to be able to reach the lights from below, unfortunately. 2 AA batteries at the bottom of the theatre are required to power them up.
The ballerina dolls can be posed in the round circle on the stage, which has 2 foot stands.
Turning the gear wheel at the side make them dance around. The curtains can be pulled up by sliding the rose leaver at the same side.
If the red wire becomes untangled, it's easy to disconnect their top holder by unscrewing 2 screws. This is how it should be rewired. The loose ends have to be pulled through the eye hook at the top of the slider opening on the inside of the theatre. See the slider opening on the outside on the picture above. Then they need to be tied to the eye of the rose leaver on the inside.
