Since the Sylvanian forum was looking for creative challenges, I offered the idea of "going to the movies". Yet, even if that idea is used or not, I thought it would be fun anyway to dive into that anyway, as my Sylvanians do need some more culture besides a museum. And, another culture event is also planned, more about that in a few months.
The Sylvanian ballet theater offers a magnificent location as a movie theater. It reminded me and hub so much of our hometown cinema when we were kids, a place where dad and me sometimes went to see movies, decorated in the same style. Here is a sneak peak of the front.
It took a lot of hassle to get an Amazon deal to here. I tried 3 different ones, 2 shipments failed. This one was a lot worse than they described, but Amazon did help out well and I got a further discount.
The building lacked stickers, so they were replaced by paint or printed items on photo paper, which just came out perfect for the building's repurpose as a Cinema. The doors were painted on the outside, the detail in the top decoration also received some extra color, as I thought that it looked a bit too bland. The welded decoration at the front of the doors reminds me of the ones my dad made for our front door back then.
Maybe this time, you would like to watch a vid, with an entire story I came up with. had to swap the song because YouTube made me do so, but I used another composition from the same componist. Enjoy!
